Tron Foundation announced in a Medium post that its native cryptocurrency, TRX, has been listed on Atomic Wallet. This means that the coin will now be available to a variety of OS users, including Mac, Windows, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Debian. The Foundation noted that Atomic Wallet support would help TRONICS in the management of crypto assets by reducing efforts spent, as well as help provide a robust, in-demand service for the users.
Atomic Swap Exchange for Tron
Tron will make use of the decentralized Atomic Swap Exchange available on the Atomic Wallet. With the help of this feature, cross-chain swaps can now be made easily. It could also mitigate risks that third-party apps could bring and help in making crypto assets more reliable and transparent.
Founder Justin Sun also announced the news on his Twitter account. He noted:
“#TRX is listed on @atomicwallet. @atomicwallet will provide #TRON a powerful, in-demand service that will allow #TRONICS to reduce effort spent on managing crypto assets and makes it transparent and reliable. $TRX.”
Tron holders will now also be brought to the instant limitless exchange service by Changelly, which provides hassle-free exchanges in over 90 altcoins. ShapeShift’s fixed-rate exchange will also be available to the users now.
The wallet comes with free and full encryption as well, keeping users’ coins 100% secure. Tron also clarified that the company would never store a user’s key or compromise it at any level, letting users maintain full control over their holdings.
